Reasons Why Dust Collection Is a Must

Wood working, sanding, etc are all similar operations that create not only dust but also smoke and health threatening fumes as well. Here is where the good old dust collection comes in. The dust collection will not only save you the fuss of cleaning after the machines yourself but it will also create a pollution free environment not only for your work place but also for your whole locality as well. Air travels faster than anything and so before you know it, the dust created in the privacy of your work room will travel into your outside locality endangering the lives of everyone.

There are a lot of people who feel that in order to save money they must settle for just one air cleaner. In this case, most people end up buying some type of basic vacuum system and have an employee also clean up the dust. While I am not arguing that a simple vacuum system is not as important (it should be as mandatory), just imagine the amount of pollution that the one-trick vacuum system has to clear without any aid. Plus, removing this debris may safe the lives of you and your workers but not the person who cleans after the dust. I like to think that both dust collection systems and a more business like vacuum system such as, a torit dust collector and/or a downdraft table, are made to work together to remove as much as possible. The complete dust collection will clean the maximum dust making it an easier task for the smaller vacuum systems. There should be multiple stages to clean the unseen dust in the air which could not be easily cleaned otherwise.

Another aspect you might want to consider is that if you do not keep a dust collection system but you have an air filter in your air system, just imagine the amount of money you will spend on the filters that will have to clean a dust clogged environment without any aid!

Dust collection systems come in a variety of models that you can choose from. They are designed according to the kind of appliances that are used in the factory or your work place. With modern innovation these dust collectors no longer just ‘collect’ the dust in the machine but it also help control dust and smoke emitting from the machine. By doing so it also reduces the cost and fuss you will otherwise need to undergo for maintaining clean air.

So the next time you plan on going on a budget by not buying a dust collector, you better think again.
